When you create for fun in your spare time, you know you're in the right world

Freelance creative work
For the past five years, I’ve managed social media, marketing and design for a range of small to medium-sized businesses. What started as a hobby quickly became something I naturally gravitated towards - and eventually, a big part of my career.
One of my most recent projects was the St Kilda Comedy Festival 2026, where I worked directly alongside the owner, advising on strategy, designing content and managing the marketing. We brought creators into the mix, launching this year’s festival with simple, impactful videos shot along St Kilda Promenade.

Non-profit social media accounts
I accidentally found myself honing my community-building skills during my uni days, co-managing the UCD Economics Society social media before being asked to take over the UCD Dance Society page as a duo. Later, in London, I teamed up with a friend to launch the social presence for a new GAA football team. Within the first few months, we’d helped bring in 1,000+ followers and, more importantly, record-breaking numbers of women signing up to join the team.
Building brands from birth
Feis Mania
In addition to the Irish pub, and several clients in my previous agency, I have grown multiple brands and businesses from the ground up.
One notable mention is my first baby*, my mum's Irish Dance Accessory business. Founded when I was 13, I played an integral role in naming the company, sourcing suppliers, managing the social media and also working as sales assistant throughout my teenage years. Before my Canva days, I had found a random website where I paid $15 USD to design and download my own 'posters'. When I undertook my Masters in Digital Marketing in 2021, a module called 'Omnichannel Marketing Communications' altered my brain chemistry and subsequentially I decided mum's business needed a full rebrand. We're talking: logo, tagline, tone of voice, merch, banners, labels, social media … all by yours truly. (Not a designer).
Feis Mania continues to be one of the most successful Irish Dance Accessory suppliers and I still get to design the graphics from across the world.

Secret Project
Fast forward a few years, and I’m currently working behind the scenes with a very exciting start-up set to launch in the UK in 2027. That’s all I can say for now… but you should definitely stay tuned. We love a cliffhanger.
